Plastic Bullet On Your iPad And Your Mac
Plastic Bullet Camera 2.0 for iOS went live today, with new sharing options (like Twitter, and something called “face book?”), support for larger image sizes and arbitrary aspect ratios. And Plastic Bullet is now a universal app, meaning it works beautifully on your iPad. You can develop a full-res 5D Mark II shot on the iPad version.
Which might seem like an odd thing to do—why not just have a version that runs on your Mac, where all your photos are? OK, we did that too. Plastic Bullet is now available on the Mac App Store for $4.99.

Any plans to do it as a photoshop plug in? Love Plastic Bullet, it's my favourite iphone app
Any chance of some of these Red Giant apps on WP7?
Well that's a first!
It's just awesome as the iPhone app is. It even works with .PSD & Canon RAW files…
I noticed some bugs:
- If I export to iPhoto all images get the same filename. In consequence iPhoto detects duplicates.
- If I publish photos to Facebook it creates a new Plastic Bullet album on every new photo upload instead of uploading it to the previously created album.
And some minor hiccups:
- In expose view (I'm using 10.6.8) the window name is some chinese/japanese(?) letters… easter-egg?
- Facebook upload is going via Facebooks french subdomain (little snitch told me…) :D
Some sort of incremental filenames would be great!
Anyways, thank you & Red Giant for such fun toys*
Kevin
*Even though it's way way way more then a toy!
Great comments Kevin, thanks! I'll pass them along to the team.
Sorry Stu, this is off topic. I am looking at the Tokina 11-16/2.8 in your amazon store. Will those be the focal lengths on my 60D? Or will I need to do some math to account for the crop factor?
Thanks,
John
