Orphanage Animation Studios

How about some good news? It's business as usual at Orphanage Animation Studios. Led by the singular animation talent Genndy Tartakovsky, OAS is a separate company from The Orphanage, Inc., and is busy working on some amazing stuff.

Thank you all for the amazing comments on The Orphanage's sad announcement. The outpouring of positive feelings is truly overwhelming.

Happy to read that. I wrote a post about the Orphanage at my blog. You guys really inspired me when I was starting college.

I hope all the best for you and the crew.

Thank goodness for that. I was upset to hear another company went under, but it's still alive and kicking! :)

So I guess Red Giant Software is also unaffected, right?

Awesome!

A spark is all it takes to keep hope alive and arise again from the ashes of renewal.

Great to hear!

I am still befuddled that the FX and commercial divisions are closing.

I am glad to hear that the animation division is still alive and kicking.

And in Genndy Tartakovskis capabable hands.

Good luck with whatever it is you choose to do. I am hoping for a smooth transition for you guys.

Mad love yo.

Hey stu, congrats on 10yrs of success with the Orphanage!

Do you think you could post your final thoughts on the 5D Mk II's video capabilities? I remember you mentioning that you filmed a short on it.

How did the color grading go? Is the sexy image worth the downsides? Are we going to see this sweet short any time soon? thanks!

Stu, you tease us with links to single page websites where we can't see anything.

Stop playing mind games with us poor suckas!

Tis good news though :)
