Navy, Minis, Toshiba Spots in HD

The new Orphanage Commercial Productions site is up, and my Director portfolio along with it. The Ruby Tuesday Minis spot, Navy SEALs Footprints, and my recent Toshiba HDDVD spot are available in HD! Better looking than YouTube by a long shot, except Footprints which is way too dark, but we're working on that. It's kind of a challenging spot for encoders.

The Minis spot is my Director's cut, which features more Hot Minis Action, so check it out!

i looked at all the videos and they look fabulous. The HD stuff is just Soooo cool, the minis just popped out of my screen. i haven't see that Cher video in a long time and it still holds up so well. Okay, so i read again what your site is "dedicated" too and i think about your book which i have already ordered and decide that i would take a chance and show you a few of my pieces and see what you think. i'm not out for a job-just want to see if you would check them out. i look at your stuff and each one is so good-it inspires-but can also be "I'll never get that good" you know what i mean? so, i know how busy you are so if they don't grab you in the first minute or so (they are only a couple minutes each) then turn them off, but hopefully "the stories" and some of the "telling" although nowhere near your skill "may" have some redeeming quality. One is called "iDate" and is 100% 3D animation, the other is called "OverKill" and was made w/my HVX200. Both are on my .mac account
http://web.mac.com/jefferypetersen -but i also put "iDate" on YouTube on the link below.

I'll still be tuning in even if you don't have time to check them out. i learn a lot from your Blog and am looking forward to the book.
Thanks for any words of wisdom.

Great work on the site. Clean, easy to get around. One of the best 'reel' sites I've seen. Loved the quality of the streaming clips...

Say, Stu, are you using Squeeze for compressing the videos? If you are you're getting better results than I am.
