The bag is out from around the cat

As readers of DVXuser.com have found out, I am working on a book about digital filmmaking:

The DV Rebel's Guide : An All-Digital Approach to Making Killer Action Movies on the Cheap

You know, what with all my spare time and all.

More to come on this, but as the book is still in progess, feel free to comment on what you might like to see covered!

The cover could be nicer.

You can say that again. Oh, wait, you did. :)

That's not the final cover, trust me!

HDV coverage would be rather nice.

Dear Mr. Maschwitz,
Perhaps a chapter devoted to directing actors with blue screen would be nice. For example, where does the actors eye need to be when looking at a CG character, etc.
There has already been a bunch of books on compositing, but maybe alittle of what are the possibilities and limits of homemade VFX.
You're my hero Mr. Maschwitz,
A kiddo from Bangkok.
