Could you describe your experience with the "softness" others have seen when using 96fps? Hard to tell much after the YouTube compression, but it seems like it would be quite manageable to intercut with other footage with a dash of post sharpening. Better than 720P slow-motion from other cameras?

The still image on this post is actually full-resolution, so you can right-click on it and see it for yourself at 1:1. Of course, I've sharpened it a bit. I'd say it's roughly the equivalent of 720p scaled up to 1080.

Proof the right soundtrack can improve any video

What are your feelings about moving to a new camera system and lenses? I can't believe it's taken this long for camera manufacturers to catch on to the idea that many of us want a codec other than AVCHD, but don't want to spend $5-10K to get it, nor do we want video camera bodies. The Canon cinema cameras are nice, but still too expensive. It looks like Panasonic has finally gotten it. But now I've got all this Canon infrastructure, and am hesitant to go after M43.
